Tami Sarjeant is the VP of Channels-Global for Bandura Systems. She brings over 17 years of experience in sales and establishing leading successful channel programs. Her experience extends across a wide range of solution oriented products including security software, virtualization, networking routers and hardware companies. Sarjeant’s channel sales career started as a Federal Channel Manager with Ingram Micro. She went on to work for Extreme Networks, Fujutsu and then Xiotech, where she was responsible for building and leading the regional channel strategies for their federal businesses before moving on to Tenable Network Security in 2006. While at Tenable, she initiated and developed their global Channel program to include Federal, SLED, and Commercial across both the commodity product line (Nessus) and the enterprise product line (Security Center). A believer in less is more, Sarjeant was strategic in her partner selection. This approach allowed her team to heavily promote true relationships within all levels of the partner organization revitalizing partner allegiance. “As an emerging vendor, you can’t expect Partners to commit to you if you don’t commit to them.” This philosophy kept Tenable’s competitors from penetrating deeper into these accounts while significantly increasing ProACTive opportunities across all product lines and customer verticals. At the end of her tenure, Sarjeant’s channel team had exceeded 50% YOY growth for the Nessus product line and over 100% YOY growth for the Security Center net new business within Channels. Given the parallels between the early days of Tenable and Bandura Systems, Sarjeant is implementing a similar Channel strategy.  Make the commitment. Build the trust. Earn their loyalty. The foundational building blocks Sarjeant’s Channel Team aspires to daily. This mandate lead to Sarjeant being selected as CRN’s Channel Chief in 2016 http://www.crn.com/channel-chiefs/cc2016-details.htm?c=259 and CRN’s prestigious Women of the Channel list also in 2016.  www.CRN.com/wotc2016.
